1951 the museum of the writer Peter Cvirka was established in this building. (Closed in 1991). 1934–1935 Mr. Cvirka lived as a tenant in a modest basement room of this building.

Now the Children’s Literature Museum is a real fairy-tale country for both young visitors and adults: here parents will return to their childhood in their thoughts, and colorful spaces for creative education will open up for children! The museum has creative workshops, you can discover installations of works, a lot of costumes of characters. The museum soon will be renovated and visitors will be able to visit the new modern exposition.
